A study in skill, concentration, self detemination & focus, a wonderful antique cast metal form of a Greek athlete throwing a discus, the original Discobolus by Myron was modeled just a few years ago:) 460 to 450 BC to be exact. Incredible when we think of the translation of form, idea & thought that is still relevant today. Shelf decor or a beautiful piece to display on a stack of books or use as a bookend. Great old patina & nice weight.
