Wonderful image of skiiers at a Quebec ski hill circa 1940's. Great colours. Wonderful graphics. Super piece for a chalet, winter decor, or cottage.
I believe the print is a more contemporary piece representing an earlier time. It may have been used as a possible banner or endcap ad in Quebec liquor stores. I can find no other versions to reference. Whatever it's origin, it is wonderful! Great rustic old primitive frame to set off the charming graphics. Measures 29" x 13."
This is also an advertising piece for Quebec's 'Dow Old Stock Ale." Dow was Quebec's best selling brand, which began in the 1800's and ceased production in the 90's after it had been absorbed by Carling & then Molson.
