This sold earlier but had to post. A beautiful soulful landscape etching by listed artist Malte Sterner. She captures wonderful still moments that speak volumes.
Matte has some wear. Measures 15" x 11 3/4."
*Born in Sweden, Malte Sterner (1903-1952) studied at the Royal Academy in Stockholm. She emigrated to Canada eventually settling in Vancouver. Her choice of medium was often dry-point etching & her subjects included landscapes, sailing ships & buildings in Toronto, Montreal & Quebec City.
