A beautiful antique Dutch oilette of cows and a solitary human walking down a sun dappled tree lined Autumn pathway.
The work is by Dutch artist Arnold Marc Gorter (1866-1933) The image is lovely and Gorter's use of light, fantastic. More interestingly, this is an old piece, a print applied to canvas and very rare to find. There is a bit of wear to the canvas, one small line at the top difficult to see. I would love to see this in a simple brown antique frame, unfortunately in my stockpile of frames, none fit this. It measures 16" x 12."
