A fantastic primitive antique large much loved warrior of a copper apple butter boiler. The range of colours in it's patina, superb wear & batters to it's form now resemble a sculptural piece of art, one that is easy on the eyes and remains functional. It's a piece in the words of Vervoordt that is"represented by the honesty of it's material & the purity of intent in it's creation."
There is the remains of an old makers stamp on the rim but I can't make it out. Add a large plant or not. Place it outdoors in your garden scape or perch it by the fire or simply use it as decor. It is larger than the pictures suggest. An old repair on one side. Measures 23.5" w x 17" h.
