A gorgeous antique pine cabinet in a form, I think is pretty damn stellar. Brilliant piece for displaying special curios from the natural world, treasured objects, books or possibly stocking a few bottles, stoneware or kitchen decor.
This beauty likely began life as an upper portion of a flat to the wall, possibly in a general store or perhaps simply designed to display special objects. It's appealing columnar sides were added at a later date as are the wood squares at the base of each column. What appear to be two mouseholes on each side base are actually more likely simply old wear, possibly this beauty weathered some time outdoors. It retains one definite character mouse hole to the back, always lovely to have at least one! Beautiful overall patina & character. Truly a fine mix of primitive appeal married to elegant country home.
Works beautifully on the floor, on top of a jam cupboard or possibly built into kitchen cabinetry. Measures 43" w x 39" h s 14" d.
