A wonderful antique PairPoint biscuit barrel. Glass with silver lid. The panelled barrel is handpainted with a wonderful image of sailboats framed in an upper & lower border in the form of curling waves. Like stepping back in time, lovely soft colours & fabulous imagery.
Late 1800's. Silver lid has wear to underside. Measures 8 3/4" h with handle up x 5 3/4" w. 6.5" h with handle down.
