Three feet tall, fabulous antique armillary dial for the garden. Cast iron, each of the 8 concentric rings is mobile allowing display as a sphere, bullseye view or variations in between. Wonderful architectural element within the gardenscape, it's comprised of two parts. If you simply wished to use the armillary dial on a table scape or integrate within another part of the patio, the twisted tripod base can be used as a very solid plant stand. Brilliant piece from an old estate.
Black paint in great patina with some character rusting. It could be painted again but it has wonderful character as is. I wouldn't touch it. Circa 1930's to 1940's. Measures 3 feet hight x 12" w. Armillary dial on it's own measures 17" h x 10" w.
