Antique Brown & White "Etruria" Transferware Coffee Pot Whittaker & Co
A late 1800's Victorian aesthetic period brown & white transferware coffee pot by 'Whittaker &Co, Hanley' in the 'Etruria ' pattern which features a surround of wild roses, sailing boats & windmills. Plates turn up in this pattern, but other forms are rare to come across. Simply a gorgeous form & design.
Old chipping to end of spout, a hairline down front & one that runs around 3 sides. It seeps very slightly so filling with coffee is not advised however it can be partially filled & used for flowers & remains a gorgeous special piece for your shelves or grouped collection. Measures 8 1'4" h x 8.5" w × 4.5" d.
