A wonderful antique landscape depicting an Egyptian oasis with camels & pyramids in the background by listed British artist Alfred Calvert. Beautiful soft colours and wonderful image. Calvert (1821-1894) was noted for his watercolor & gouache paintings of Orientalist landscapes, often featuring desert scenes with camels and pyramids.
