A wonderful rare circa 1850 hand coloured lithograph of Washington's Mt.Vernon. Fabulous colours, wonderful imagery & a great old frame.
Depicting an aerial view of George Washington's estate at Mount Vernon in Virginia with a numbered key indicating fourteen locations of interest on the estate including the vegetable garden, seed house, tomb, kitchens, etc. The house is in the upper right & the Potomac River is visible in lower right.
