A pair of wonderful rare antique Chinese exportware individual soup tureens. Beautiful apple green & white with gilt accent, the lid & body of each decorated with the most wonderful green armorial dragons or on each side.
I would love for these to go together but owing to varying conditional issues on each, I have priced them individually. Circa early 1800’s.
No mark to either. Stamped hard to see insignia on the base. Each has light loss to the gilt, green ground & wear commensurate with age. Each measures 7 ¼” h x 7” w handle to handle.
The first has four hairlines to the base. $165.00.
The second has had an early stapled repair to the cap with visible line across the surface and two staples beneath. The finial has had an early glue repair. The base has an early staples repair to one handle with three staples, one staple missing and movement to the handle. $135.00.
