A wonderful & unusual carved stone cat. Most fascinating is that her tail and leg are one. Perhaps part of some wonderful old symbology or the creativity of the carver, she is beautifully carved with a wonderful form. I'm reminded of owl & the pussycat as she seems to be sitting in a boat.
No marks. I suspect Chinese. Stone seems to be white jade or an alabaster but I'm not certain. Tiny nick on one ear & side of base. A few natural stone inclusions. She measures 7" h x6" w x 3.5" w.
