Comes with the sponge seat inner and subtle exterior upholstery which works well to show the form and wonderful patina. The red throw is simply to show a variation.) It's an easy cushion reupholster if you want something different. I think it would be fantastic in a French toile with animals or a graphic colourful modernist stripe. And of course, always lovely with a tried and true muslin but a pop of colour would be brilliant.
The base is an old piece of solid ply which firs perfectly, It would have begin life with wood slats. Incredibly solid, beautiful lines and truly a special piece. If Grey Gardens Cottage had the space, it would be here. Measures 75" L x 24" d x 28" h.
